Started in Torrevieja on the 21st May 2008 for the purpose to socialise amongst a group of like minded people, the Gay Womens Social Group was formed. The Costa Blanca is in rich in activities, the numerous events that take place throughout the year attract people from all walks of life. It was definitely felt by the members of our merry troupe, that we often missed out attending due to lack of company to go with.
Since the Group has formed a number of nights outs out have been well attended, Monthly meetings take place at Bar Med in Los Altos Del Limonar – not far from Carrefour on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Saturday Nights have seen us attend the Theatre, the Pink Mopy a Local Gay bar in Torrevieja. Villa Martin Plaza at the Tavern to See Stevie Spit for one of the most side splitting Drag shows you will ever see, The Beach Party was a great day and night out and packed with entertainment. Friday's is the Jazz night at the Caves at Rojales, where artists show off their skills in their Cave studio's and music is played on the terrace.
